Essex Libraries is looking for volunteers to help residents gain confidence with accessing NHS services online. Health & Digital Literacy Champions will support residents with downloading and accessing the NHS App, making appointments online, and ordering medicines safely and securely.
To become a Health & Digital Literacy Champion, you'll need to complete a short online training course, before being matched with your local library who will help you plan your support sessions. Sessions would be planned around your commitments and always hosted in a library.
The Champion role is available at libraries across Tendring, Harlow, Basildon and Castle Point. For full details, visit the Volunteer Essex website.
