Find out if you can switch today!

Superfast Essex is a broadband improvement programme run by Essex County Council.

It is part of the Government’s national Superfast Broadband programme. The programme aims to make superfast broadband (30Mbps and above) available to as much of Essex as possible.

Follow these simple steps to check if you can access faster broadband speeds:

1. Enter your address in the search box on the Superfast Essex interactive rollout map. If you'd prefer a simpler text-based status, you can also use the address checker.

2. If superfast or ultrafast broadband is available, you’ll see a pink dot and this means you can buy it now.*

3. Remember, nobody is automatically connected to faster broadband when upgrade work is completed; you will need to contact your existing service provider, or an alternative provider, and ask to switch!
